Meet Steve Klassen

I have been helping people buy and sell homes in the Fraser Valley for 32 years, completing more than 1,600 transactions along the way. Over the years, I have learned that real estate is much more than buying or selling a property, but it is about the people and the decisions behind every move.

I have built my business around the communities I know best, including Langley, Surrey, Cloverdale, and Abbotsford. I have had the opportunity to work with all kinds of clients, from first-time buyers and growing families to homeowners selling, downsizing, or moving on to their next chapter.

I hold a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of British Columbia, specializing in Urban Land Economics, along with an Associate Broker designation. With a strong commitment to ongoing education in real estate and related fields, I bring valuable experience as a Residential Construction Manager, where I oversaw home construction, coordinated sub-trades, and managed budgets effectively.

THE KLASSEN FAMILY

Family is at the center of everything I do. I am a father of seven active children who enjoy vacationing in Osoyoos, traveling, participating in multiple sports and outdoor activities, and family gatherings. 

Now, three family members are a part of the team at work. Cindy, Steve’s wife, oversees the professional staging, Nicole, Steve’s daughter, is part of the staging team, and Adrianna, Steve’s daughter, followed in her Dad’s footsteps as a licensed Realtor.


MAKING A DIFFERENCE

My wife Cindy and I adopted five of our children Mireya (2006), Nicole (2010), Andy (2017), Naldo (2023),and Louis (2026) from the Philippines, and have continued to support orphan care ministries in the Philippines. We also support a ministry called Hope for the Island that serves the impoverished, orphaned, widowed, sick, and uneducated. We are key financial supporters for Hope for the Island, and I now serve on the Board of Hope for the Island Ministries. I have also provided financial support to the Langley Food Bank, Easter Seals 24-Hour Relay For Kids (which raises money to send children with disabilities to summer camp), World Vision (a relief organization dedicated to helping children), Ride to Conquer Cancer, the RE/MAX Lunch Program, and to my home Church.
