Goat’s Pride at McLennan Creek - A certified organic goat dairy operation. A beautiful farm with approximately 170 goats, plus cows, chickens, pigs, and a duck.  There is a farm store retailing their own cheeses, milk and yogurt as well as locally made treats and snacks and goat-related items.  Visitors will be able to see the cheese being made through the viewing window, and can enjoy playing with the baby goats.  The farm also has an environmentally protected salmon spawning stream where the salmon can be seen. Please call ahead if you are interested in a guided tour.

Birchwood Dairy’s Farm Market & Coffee Shop - The Len Krahn family invites you to enjoy a taste of farm life including farm fresh milk, old-fashioned ice-cream, frozen yogurt and feta cheese; deli, bakery, produce & gift and grocery. Spend a day and enjoy the picnic tables, petting zoo, & playground, take a self directed tour and enjoy watching the cows being milked. Group Tours (for 15 or more) available from Apri l- September only. Please book tours in advance. Individuals are welcome to browse around anytime without booking a tour. Open year round.

Water Spray Park - Cool off at Abbotsford’s outdoor water spray park, located beside Centennial Outdoor Pool and Centennial Park playground. There is no charge to use the water spray park, so come bring your family and friends, and have a refreshing time...for free! The water spray park is open from the May long weekend to the end of the September long weekend, seven days a week!

Langley

Visit the Greater Vancouver Zoological Society - The Greater Vancouver Zoo has 126 species of wildlife from all around the globe in it’s newly updated facilities. A great way to spend the afternoon. Take a ride on the Safari express miniature train or watch the daily lion and tiger feeding.

Take a historical walk on the Fort to Fort Trail - Enjoy the sights of nature with the native wildflowers, lush vegetation, and views of the Bedford Channel. At the same time take in a history lesson at the first site of the Hudson’s Bay fort in Derby Reach Park (GVRD) and the Fort Langley National Historic Site in Fort Langley.

North Delta

Visit the Reifel Migratory Bird Sanctuary - View up to 280 species of birds on nearly 850 acres of managed habitat and estuarine marsh. Some birds simply land here to rest and feed, while others spend the whole winter in its protected habitat. Each November marks the return of thousands of snow geese from Wrangel Island in the Arctic.

Watershed Park - Dominated by a second growth coniferous forest, this is Delta's largest and most precious park. With 11 kilometres of gravel trails winding through the park, this is a great place to do some cycling, running, walking, horseback riding, and nature appreciation.

Enjoy the outdoors at Burns Bog - The largest raised peat bog on the West Coast of the Americas and ten times the size of Vancouver’s Stanley Park. At 4,000 hectares, Burns Bog is the largest urban wilderness in North America and is home to 150 species of birds, 24 species of mammals and 126 species of flora.

Surrey Museum - The Museum features exhibits of a selection of 5,000 year old stone tools created by the Indigenous Peoples of the area. It also houses the 1881 Town Hall, Surrey's first seat of civic government, and displays re-creations of the interiors of turn of the century homes and businesses.

The White Rock Pier on Marine Drive - Enjoy a walk along this 1,559 foot long pier, originally built in 1914. A great vantage point for views of the beach, Mount Baker and White Rock Village.

The Beach – Enjoy the sandy beach and views of the ocean in White Rock or Crescent Beach.

Bose Corn Maze - 15 acres in size, cut out of a 19 acre field. Clues are used to work your way through the maze. The walls of the maze are 12 feet tall. Children will enjoy the mini maze, farm animals, hay bale jump, swing set, and sand box with toys. Two fire pits are available for all visitors to use, with free marshmallows to roast.
