My approach to real estate is different than most in that I believe real estate is not about properties, but rather it’s about people. I see myself as being in the business of helping families achieve their real estate goals. I hope I can help you meet your real estate goals.

Education
Things are changing quickly! I am dedicated to continual education and upgrading of skills. That is why I have a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of British Columbia with a specialization in Urban Land Economics. This degree provides me with a comprehensive knowledge and application of sound business practices and management skills pertaining to the real estate market. I have my Associate Broker (previously Agent 9.15) designation and continually participate in continuing education in areas of real estate, real estate law, computer technologies, and other real estate and business related issues. I am a professional who keeps up to date on today’s fast changing real estate climate. You deserve that.

Background & Experience
Construction Management
I have experience as a Residential Construction Manager overseeing the building of residential homes from beginning to end; co-ordinating subtrades and making sure costs were within budget.

Real Estate
In the 15 years I have been in the real estate business, I have relied on the attributes mentioned below to provide buyers and sellers alike the highest level of service to effectively reach their goals and fulfill their expectations. This has resulted in 719 career transactions, recognition as a top 2% Realtor in the Fraser Valley (“Medallion Club”), and recognition as a member of the RE/MAX Platinum Club and the esteemed RE/MAX Hall of Fame.

Communication
Active listening, idea clarification, objection handling, presenting of options, and working with my clients to reach their real estate goals are important to me. My communication is enhanced by using technology and I make it my business to stay in touch with my clients, returning calls within a prescribed time-frame.


Technology

The use of computers and the Internet is changing everything! I realize that I have to stay close to the cutting edge of technology.
That is why I market my listings on the Internet and have designed a web site. My team and I have access to 2 desktop computers, a laptop computer with wireless internet access, a colour laser printer, a mobile printer, a laser fax machine, a digital camera, a scanner, and 2 Blackberry Curve PDA/cell phones with text message, paging, and e-mail capabilities. I am continually upgrading my technological education. I also keep up-to-date on upcoming software to ensure that I am being most efficient when at the office or on the road. But none of that matters if it doesn’t help me better serve you. I believe it does.

Accuracy and Ethics
Fulfilling promises made, keeping accurate records of any conversations and communications (phone, fax, e-mail, etc…), and keeping appointments. I also know and apply the rules and regulations of my profession without compromise. I make it a point to be truthful and honest.

Networking
Successfully interacting with people within my sphere of influence as well as finding and increasing my base of clients through various promotional strategies. My previous year’s percentage of business from referrals, repeat business, and “sphere of influence” is 100%. It is obvious to me where I should be spending my time.

Systems and Efficiency
Less headaches! I am a systems freak and it shows. A systematic approach to real estate transactions ensures I do what I say I will do and that your goals are met. This is achieved by proper application of communication with the help of technology, accuracy with knowledge, networking, and work ethic. The benefit to you is that any stress that can be removed is removed. Strong ethical values and hard work have earned me a place where I now employ one full time assistant and two part time assistants who maintain my systems so that I can spend more time with my clients.

Consultative Approach
I listen first! A salesperson sells you something whether you need it or not. A consultant helps you buy something that meets a goal. I am a Real Estate Consultant, not a salesperson. I listen to you, present your options, and work with you to reach your goals. I don’t push, rather, I work at your pace. You owe it to yourself to work with someone who is concerned about your needs first. My theory is that if I focus on helping people with their goals, the commission money I earn will look after itself. I don’t worry about how much I will make on “this deal”.

Long Term Focus
I depend on your repeat business and referrals! Because my current and past clients send me my future clients, your complete satisfaction and subsequent referrals are the basis of my future business. I understand that only when you receive the highest level of service will you feel comfortable referring your family, friends, and work associates to me.
